I believe working out should not be a punishment. It should be fun and something you look forward to. For me, it is my me time. The time of day that I get to just be me and do something that is only for me. During this time I am not a mother or wife. Just Me!
When creating workouts I like to keep in mind that your time is valuable and you do not want to waste it. Most of the online workouts are around 30 mins and contain moves that you can do from home with minimum equipment.
WHAT I DO
Cardio MixFit is a high energy class that combines HIIT moves with dance and is set to today's music with some throwbacks. Modifications are shown so that no matter where you are in your fitness journey you can feel comfortable and move how your body needs to. We always dance in the lowest light setting possible. This takes away the anxiety that is associated with fitness classes. Bring your yoga mat, light dumbbells, and water and be prepared to have some fun!

Real Experiences, Stunning Results
I’m 46 years old and have never been one to join in with exercise classes until last year. A friend of mine knew that I needed to lose weight, so she kept onto me until I went to Zumba with her. I hated it, but kept showing up. Each class my confidence would grow. Fast forward a little over a year, now I LOVE it!!! With the confidence I gained with Zumba, I was ready to branch out. I needed to change it up. I saw Cassandra’s class advertised on one of the many Facebook groups I follow. “Black light dance!” Sounded very interesting! Because I don’t have a lot of confidence, I LOVED the sound of the class being dark! I tried it and instantly loved it!!! It’s a GREAT workout that I can modify for my knees. I love that it’s dark because I do not feel pressure to have all the moves down pat. I love the music and she’s a great dancer/instructor. It’s very....freeing... no pressure at all! And the glowing outfits and shoes make it so fun! It’s like being at a dance club without the hangover haha! Then I tried the weights class she offers... Loved it even more!! It’s different than just a boring workout with free weights. She does exercises that you use different muscles simultaneously so it gives you an excellent total body workout that you can modify to your ability. Most importantly, she makes you feel as though she truly wants you there! And I believe she does! She puts no pressure on you and that is extremely important to me! I have a lot of health problems and even though I may WANT to do a particular exercise, she has never made me feel bad that I can’t or that I choose not to... I highly recommend her classes for anyone regardless of their level! You won’t regret it. You may even make a new friend or two like I have.
I have been working out with Cassie for about 6 months and I love her class! When I started, I was really out of shape and the thought of going to a gym or workout class was really intimidating! Then, I found out about her Blacklight Dance class. I liked the idea that it would be dark and no one would see me, so I gave it a try and LOVED it! Cassie is very energetic and motivating! She takes a personal interest in everyone’s success and does a great job of switching it up and making the class fun! She’s very encouraging and gives plenty of modifications when needed. The music, dancing, glow-in-the-dark clothes, and easy-going atmosphere make this my favorite workout ever!
I met Cassie as a friend first. She approached me about starting a dance class and I swore I'd never be a part of it. I told her, "I can't dance!" She convinced me to try it anyway.
Fast forward to now and I don't miss a class and mourn the days we don't get to have it! Not only is it super fun, but it's an awesome, sweaty workout that burns the calories! Cassie has helped me gain confidence in movement, which was all I was truly lacking to enjoy dancing.
Now she's added Lift classes besides just dance. I've made huge changes to my body in the past three years, but the one I'm most proud of is the strength and definition Cassie has helped me achieve with Lift classes. I feel stronger and feel like I look better!
